Las Vegas: Top 5 Best Bars

Viva Las Vegas! No, you don't have to drink or gamble when you visit Las Vegas. But if you don't did you even really visit!? Just kidding... kind of. We did our fair share of drinking in Las Vegas, mostly off of the Strip (because broke college kids can't afford the Strip). Between going to college there and being in the hospitality industry so we like to think we're expert drinkers. (Just kidding mom!) These are our 5 Favorite Bars in Las Vegas!

Gold Spike

217 Las Vegas Blvd North, Las Vegas, NV 89101

A classic Las Vegas dive bar! I say dive because Gold Spike is not what it used to be. Ok, maybe it was always a bit of a mess. This is where you go on Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, Wednesday, or any day when you are ready to party, get drunk, and maybe make some new friends! The drinks are cheap and strong, what more could you want?! They have life-size games such as beer pong and Jenga, it's a good time!

The Golden Tiki

3939 Spring Mountain Rd. Las Vegas NV 89102

As the name suggests this will transport you to the Caribbean inside the Tiki Room. You can choose between different flavored tropical cocktails and even take a picture inside a giant shell, because you are the gem! This is the perfect bar for a birthday or special occasion when you're looking for something fun and out of the ordinary!

525 E Fremont St. Las Vegas, NV 89101

So you're downtown and you don't know where to go? You have to stop by Commonwealth! The guys may have an entry fee but it's got a great rooftop bar with a great view of Fremont Street. Our first night out was spent at Commonwealth so this bar will always have a place in our hearts! You get to experience the hipster part of Las Vegas, dress up for a fun night out, and have a great cocktail while you're at it!

Park on Fremont

Not only does this bar have amazing drinks but this is also one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown! We may be cheating a little but it's worth it because you have to try Park on Fremont the next time you're in Vegas. Whether you're people watching on their porch, socializing in their back patio, or inside at the bar you will be fully emerged into Park's atmosphere. Unique is an understatement. It's a great place to relax with a good cocktail and great people. Not a huge party scene but in the heart of Downtown it's a great first stop on your night out!

Minus 5 Ice Experience

3930 Las Vegas Blvd South Las Vegas, Nevada 89119

We had to add one on the Strip, so we saved the coolest one for last. This is one of our favorite bars in Las Vegas even though we do not go there often, simply because it's the most expensive on our list. At minus5° everything inside is made of ice! This means the walls, the chandeliers, the seats and even the glasses that you enjoy your beverage in. How can you not want to go to this bar?! I say go there for the entertainment, yes the drinks are expensive and there is an entry fee but it's worth it for the once in a lifetime experience!
